Freshly developed for 2026, the S310 cut firmly cements itself as the widest cut available in Samurai's stellar silhouette range. Clocking in at 19oz., the construction of the fabric itself is worth understanding. The warp uses a No. 5 uneven slub yarn spun from coarse, hard raw cotton using a high-twist spinning method that deliberately maximises the rough, grainy surface texture. The slub character in a yarn this thick is difficult to produce with the kind of naturalness you find in finer counts, and Samurai have achieved it here in a way that gives the fabric an organic irregularity rather than a forced effect. The weft uses a thick No. 4 count yarn, which softens the inner face of the fabric against the skin while the outer surface remains deliberately coarse and heavy.
