A collaboration we have been waiting to see happen for a long time, the Master-Piece x Chup Shoulder Bag brings together two brands united by a passion for excellent craftsmanship in their respective fields, blending Chup's vibrant textile artistry with Master-piece's renowned approach to functional bag design.
Created exclusively for this collaboration, the signature fabric panels found on either side of the bag draw inspiration from Chup's richly patterned socks, which are themselves influenced by traditional ethnic motifs from around the world. Produced using Chup's advanced knitting expertise, the fabric incorporates Master-piece's signature yellow accent throughout the design.
The main body is constructed from a lightweight yet robust nylon tusser fabric woven from 70d nylon warp yarns and 160d nylon Taslan weft yarns. A unique dyeing process creates a natural wrinkled texture and matte finish that closely resembles cotton, while maintaining the performance benefits of synthetic fibers. A final water-repellent treatment further enhances practicality for daily use.
Complementing this fabric is the premium chrome-free semi-aniline leather trim. Combining the rich depth of dye-finished leather with the firmness and character of traditional vegetable-tanned hides, it offers a supple hand feel while developing character through use.
Designed with versatility in mind, the bag features expandable gussets with adjustable side straps that can also be used to secure light outerwear. Open side pockets provide convenient storage for water bottles or compact umbrellas, while a metal D-ring attachment point offers additional utility. Inside, both zippered and open organizational pockets help keep smaller essentials neatly separated.
