Momotaro’s foray into corduroy this season explores a particular corduroy weave known as "wide wale", or "jumbo corduroy", which features wide and prominent ridges (or wales). Categorized as having a low wale count, wide wale corduroy will usually have 10 wales or less per inch, creating a dense and heavyweight fabric weave. Cut and crafted from double yarns using organic cotton, the combination of double yarns in organic cotton results in a fabric face that has a smooth hand feel and refined sheen and luster.
