Featuring rich indigo hues, this version of the ODMJ019 is garment dyed in Indigo in Okayama, Japan. With a history stretching all the way back to the 10th century, Indigo has been woven into the cultural fabric of Japanese history.
Having already gone to lengths of taking Momotaro’s standard Momotaro Jacquard Crest pocket bags and giving them the garment dye treatment in both Kakishibu & Indigo, it only made sense to find another application for those hand dyed fabrics.
Creating a capsule collection to complete the concept of the “Frost” Jeans, the OD+MJ Shirt features an otherwise more forgiving fit that has naturally shrunk quite a but with the garment dyeing process. Each piece is dyed by hand, going through several rounds of the dyeing process to ensure we hit the hues we were after.
