Samurai have pulled out all the stops this season to conjure up this truly one-of-a-kind fabric for S/S 2026. That pattern is reproduced through a combination of natural indigo and synthetic indigo blended dye alongside brown yarn, creating a mottled, spotted surface texture that reads as organic and irregular rather than uniform. The construction uses a sashiko weave technique to achieve the unique pattern, with indigo yarn placed specifically in the sashiko sections of the fabric where friction and wear are most likely to accelerate fading.
