Loop & Weft's Heather Slub Tees

June 01, 2021

Loop & Weft have made quite a statement this season with their fine selection of Heather Slub fabric tees in a variety of styles. Rounding off their S/S 2021 collection are the final two variants of this fabric, featured in both classic crewneck and pocket crewneck motifs.
While the 1960s Football Shirt that these tees are based on is simple, dig deep and you will find a world of texture and construction details that the purveyors of "Best Knitwear in Japan" have time and again implemented with each of their garments.
Along with the weaving of the fabric, all of the construction occurs in Wakayama, Japan. The neck, armholes and hem feature a custom binder milled ribbing, only made possible by adding a custom element to a vintage flat seamer machine to create the binder feature that elevates the life of the garment.
The same binder milled ribbing is also featured on the chest pocket of the pocket crewneck version of this tee.
The heather slub fabric is perfect for the scorching hot days ahead, with irregular weave helping to minimize skin contact and provide the wearer with supreme comfort and airiness over extensive wear.
Each Tee will be available in 4 colors - Beige, Black Orange and Olive. Not only one of the softest t-shirt fabrics we have ever felt, the level of refined detailing of this piece cement it as a truly exciting take on a classic garment.

The new Loop & Weft Heather Slub Tees drop on 6/2 @ Midnight (JST)
