New Spring things trickling in strong, we have a slew of new arrivals landing from the sword-wielding folks over at Samurai.
Following up from their recently released
SJ48CP Heavy Chino Pants back in March, the same fabric has been used for their stealthy Rider's Jacket.
Admiring the inlay of the fabric, you can truly appreciate the special weave of the Broken Twill Selvedge featuring their iconic silver lamé ID.
Featuring their iron "Taiko" (Drum) buttons, no compromise has been made to ensure the best possible construction in all areas of the jacket.
Another heavy hitter from Samurai's latest releases and developed from the fabric up by the team at Samurai, Indigo yarns that have been tediously dyed using the traditional kasezome method. Meticulously arranged to form the unique diamond and stripe pattern that is seen in their new Sashiko stripe hats.
Kasezome is the art of skein dyeing, a hand dyeing method by wrapping undyed yarns into a loose coil and dipping them into a vat of Asagi Indigo (in this instance). The yarns are dyed to the core while still retaining their original texture, a feat only possible when the yarns are dyed by hand.
The hats will be available in either Natural (pictured above) or Gray (pictured below) colorways.
This weave from Samurai was a proprietary development for the current season, with the same fabric previously featured on
this shirt.
Samurai's updated S0510XX-II Regular Straight model is also back, with the second edition featuring two changes.
While the renewed S0510XX-II model for 2021 no longer features Samurai's red rayon tag from previous seasons, a new S∀MURAI tab is featured on the back right pocket.
The contrast back pocket stitching from previous seasons has also been replaced by a much more subtle navy color stitch.
The new Samurai Jeans S/S '21 items drop on 4/7 @ Midnight (JST).
