The "Kasezome" Indigo Dyed Sashiko Pants by Studio D'Artisan

September 11, 2019

Kasezome is the tedious art of skein dyeing, a hand dyeing method by wrapping undyed yarns into a loose coil and dipping them into a vat of Indigo (in this instance). We loved this fabric so much, we asked SDA to produce a version of these Sashiko Selvedge pants that are exclusively available at OD, in SDA's Relax Tapered cut! If you're looking for a hard taper, this is the one.
Featuring SDA's recognizable arcuates in a subtle black on the back pockets, the Distressed version of the same "Kazezome" Sashiko Selvedge fabric has been cut in the same Relax Tapered for a first as an OD Exclusive piece.
Finally, the pair cut in the Relax Tapered fit featured at the top of this post are also available in the Regular Straight cut for an all around roomier fit, coming at the end of this month!
